The week has gone well so far. We booked our first speaker (Dr. Larry Allen) for the event on Monday and have an idea how much money we will have to raise in order to pay for everything (most likely under $1000). Additionally, we have an idea for how we will pay for everything (restaurant fundraisers).
For the rest of the week we will work on getting the 4 last speaker slots filled. Once we do that we can devote our time to getting materials, donations and volunteers.
